1. look at 看著

【例句】I always look back on my school days. 【中譯】我總會回想我的學生生活。 3. look down on (upon) ～ 輕視 (＝despise)
【例句】They looked down on him as a coward.
【中譯】他們瞧不起他的懦弱。
【比較】亦做「俯視」解。
例：The castle looks down on the town.
譯：在這城堡可以俯視小鎮。
4. looking for 尋找 【例句】I have been looking for my lost watch for three days, but I haven't found it yet. 【中譯】我找我那丟掉的手錶已經3天了，但我仍然找不到。 5. look forward to + N/Ving 盼望 (＝anticipate)
